As we bob up and down on this sea of life, there is one thing that keeps us afloat, warm and secured. For those who have picked up the pun already, you’ll know I’m talking about friendship.
As we travel along the rhythms of life, people come and go into our lives. Some are momentary acquaintances, others our soulmates. Some we share a meal or two, some we share our secrets, and others we share our whole world with them.
I’m extremely grateful for everyone who has come into my life. I have learnt something from every encounter, no matter how brief or subtle the interaction was.
I’m also incredibly lucky to be surrounded by so many people who are genuine, honest, caring and wonderful to me. I’m happy everytime I’m around them. I’m honoured everytime they share their stories and tears with me. I’m touched everytime we laugh and cry together at whatever is happening to us.
Here’s a short tribute to those who have come into my life and made it special. Disclaimer: If I’ve left out anyone, I’m sorry! It’s me, not you!
My brother Peter: Thanks for being the best brother a girl can ever have. You’ve been there for me from the moment I was born, and I know you’ll never leave.
