During the summer holidays, my friends and I took a trip of a lifetime, a trip I know will bring a smile and chuckle to me for many years to come. Great views, great adventure, great photos (and models!) but most importantly, great company.
There’s no way I can relay all that has happened, but here’s a snap shot of what we got up to!

It all began with an idea:
“Let’s go on a roadtrip!”
Followed by a chain of emails:
“Re: Roadtrip 2008”
We had two memorable roadtrip planning meetings at Wilsen’s headquarters.
Then we were off!
- 26th December 2008 – left Sydney. Lunch at Kiarma (blowhole). Arrived at Merimbula (wow hotel view, ok Thai restaurant)
- 27th December 2008 – crossed NSW-VIC border. Lunch at Lakes Entrance. Arrived at Melbourne (picked up Susu, Italian restaurant. Logan St)

28th December 2008 – Great Ocean Road. Crossed VIC-SA border. Arrived in Mt Gambier (Dinner –Subway)

29th December 2008 – Blue Lake in Mt Gambier. Then World Heritage Caves (Alexandria Cave and Fossil Cave, and Wet Cave). Arrived in Adelaide. Dinner – Chinese

30th December 2008 – explored Adelaide City. Home-cooked meal – Midnight SY bday surprise

31st December 2008 – Hanoff German town, Penrose Vineyards, late lunch at Barossa, home-cooked meal, fireworks, pool etc till 4am

1st January 2009 – slept till 10am. Victor’s Harbour. Dinner in Chinatown

2nd January 2009 – All day on the road from Adelaide to Melbourne. Average speed 87 km/hr.

5th January 2009 – Crossed VIC-NSW border. Home sweet home!
